He was only 33. He was an ad hoc faculty at Hindu College.  I was an ad hoc teacher at Delhi University back in 2004. During my tenure, I went through two pregnancies. Not only did I not have any maternity leave, I joined back college within two days of delivery, while my stitches were still raw. I was scared that my position would be given away to someone else.  Ad hoc teachers have no job security. They can be let go on a 24-hour notice. They have no medical benefits, no medical leaves, no pay hikes and no rights. Yet teachers work in ad hoc positions in the hope that they will be regular...

From social media    ఈ చిత్రం నన్ను కలచివేసింది కన్నీళ్ళు తెప్పించింది.....  ఈ సంఘటనలకు కారకులెవరని గొంతెత్తి గట్టిగా అడగాలనిపించింది..... దేశమా ఈ దేహం చేసిన నేరమేమిటి  రాజ్యాంగమా రాసుకున్న రాతలేమయ్యాయ్  ప్రజాస్వామ్యమా ప్రమాణాలేమయ్యాయ్  భవితవ్యం ఒలికి పోతోంది...... కూడు లేని గూడులేని నీడలేని బతుకులెన్నో    నేలపైన నిదురించే పసిపాప పాదాలు  దేశాన్ని వెక్కిరించినట్టులేదు.... రేపటిని కలగనలేని ఆ కన్నులు  దేశాన్ని సున్నితంగా నిందించినట్టులేదు..... అలసిన ఆపసి దేహం... మట్టి పై కాగితాలతో  కంకర రాళ్ళ పేద పరుపుపై  అలా పడి ఉంటే ....... మనసు చలించి పోతుంది.  నేతల్లారా ఈదేశం వెలుగుతుందా  ఆకలి మంటల్లో కాలుతుందా  అసమానతలతో  అల్లాడుతుందా  పాలన మరణించింది ...... భరతమాత పేదరికంలో మగ్గిపోతుంది ఎన్నాల్లైందో ఆకడపులోని పేగులు  మెతుకుల రుచి ఎరిగి.....  మాసిన జుట్టు చాలీ చాలని బట్ట  బురదలో మునిగిన పాదాలు ..... శాశనంపై సంతకం చేయలేకపోయాయ్ వీది యే ఖరీదైన ఆవాసమైంది.   భరోసా లేదు.....  భద్రతా...
