IMPOSITION OF HINDI THREATENS OUR FUTURE

Hindi is concentrated in just this small part of the country. It’s numbers are due to their relatively decrepit social order perpetuated by the brahminical hierarchy and impositions.

But Gilchrist’s people want it to be imposed over the entire country. The extent of vocabulary and written texts of a language will shape India’s future and the worth of future generations. Hindi will only stunt India’s future. Languages like Russian, Japanese and Chinese have invested centuries to build a great body of knowledge and literature, and even they feel the need for English.

We have long lost the opportunity for the simple fact India is a political union of many nations. If the north wants Hindi let them have it, the rest should choose according to their genius and needs.
