The past is a man-made construct. In order to travel into the past, we'd literally have to rewind the motions and direction of the entire solar system. The past isn't hanging out somewhere, everything happens within the now. Traveling into the future is a definite possibility. If you orbit Earth for 50 years going the speed of light, you'll wake up roughly 500 years later even tho you have only aged 50 years. Unfortunately, matter cannot even come close to hitting the speed of light so both are technically impossible. The past is without a doubt impossible.... The future is a maybe for now
