Introducing "Elite Parasites" and the Affluenza Phenomenon


Seeing that people don't starve and children are assured food, education, and health care are core essentials for a civilized state. Using public money to rescue Anil Ambani from bankruptcy so he can take still more loans from public sector banks is encouraging parasitism!

  • Elite Parasites: This term encapsulates those who benefit disproportionately from economic policies like loan write-offs, often due to their influence or wealth, contributing less to societal good than they receive.
  •  Affluenza Disease: Borrowing from social commentary, this metaphor describes a condition where the elite, shielded by privilege, lack accountability or empathy for the broader societal impact of their benefits. It mirrors the legal leniency sometimes afforded to the wealthy under the guise of "affluenza."

Metta Ramarao, IRS (VRS) India needs a Second National Capital till a green field New National Capital is built in the geographical centre of India. Dr B R Ambedkar in his book "Thoughts on Linguistic States" published in 1955 has written a full Chaper on "Second Capital for India" While discussing at length justfying the need to go for a second capital has clearly preferred Hyderabad over Kolkata and Mumbai. He did not consider Nagpur. Main reason he brought out in his book is the need to bridge north and south of the country. He recommended Hyderabad as second capital of India.
