గిదెంది....?    *ఎక్కువ ఓట్లు ఉన్నొల్లు కదా..! ఎన్నికల్లో గెలిచేది...!* మునుగోడు ఎన్నికల్లో కాంగ్రెస్ బీజేపీ, టిఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీలే గెలుస్తాయని టీవీ ల్లో నాయకుల్లో,జనంలో చర్చ జరుగుతుంది.   ఇదెలా...?  మునుగోడు లో బీసీలు 67శాతం అంటే సుమారు 1,92000 ఓట్లు ఉంటే అందరు రెడ్డిలు గెలుస్తారు అని ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారు...?     4 వేల నుండి 7 వేల ఓట్ల బలమున్నా రెడ్డిలు ముగ్గురు నిలబడితే మనిషి 3 వేల ఓట్లు వస్తేనే గెలుస్తరా...?  800 ఒట్లున్నా కులం 4సార్లు,7000 ఓట్లున్నా కులం 8 సార్లు ఎమ్మెల్యేలు ఐతే 192000 బీసీలు ఎందుకు ఎమ్మేల్యేలు కావడం లేదో అర్థం కావడం లేదు...!    కాదు ఏదో మతలబు ఉంది...!  బిసిలు,ఎస్సీలు,ఎస్టీలు రెడ్లకు ఓట్లు వేస్తేనే గెలుస్తున్నారు. ఈ వర్గాలు తమను తామే ఓడించుకుంటున్నారు. ఓటు అంటే డబ్బులున్న వాళ్లకు అమ్ముకునే ఒక వస్తువు అనుకుంటున్నారు.  తమను రెడ్లకు అమ్ముకుంటున్నామనే సంగతి తెలుసుకుంట లేరు.  దేశానికి స్వాతంత్య్రం రాకముందు సదువు,సంధ్య లేక బానిసత్వంలో బ్రతికిన బీసీ లకు రాజ్యాంగం ప్రకారం అధికారం రావాలి...! కానీ అగ్రవర్ణ రాజక...

SINDHI NAMES Unlike other Hindus of India, who have a 'gotra', Sindhis often have a 'nukh', which means roots. This is much of the reason why Hindu Sindhi surnames end in 'ani'- which means 'anshi', derived from the Sanskrit word 'ansh', which means 'descendence'. So if someone returned or came from Georgia, his nukh would be 'jeorus', and his surname could be coined after the family head's name (subject to change every seven generations), eg: your family head 7 generations back had the name: 'Tolaram', then your surname would be TOL-ANI. There was no reason for this election at all. The incumbent was a Congress MLA who switched over to the BJP, TRS says because he was promised a ₹18000 Crs contract. Neither the BJP or the TRS are holding back on the money. The price of a single vote is over ₹5000. Many voters take money from all sides and vote for the old reasons. The Congress which traditionally held this seat is hamstrung with not enough money to spend. The complete inaction of the Election Commission of India is testimony to how constitutional safeguards to protect democracy have collapsed in India.?

Mohan Guruswamy  I have been getting messages to suggest that my comments on banning animal sacrifices in temples and for rituals did not go down well with some people. Some said it amounted to interference with religion. Others said it was as much a cultural practice as it was a sacred ritual.
